About Novaespark

Built in Edmonton, engineered to scale across Canada

Novaespark started as a regional freight operation and grew into a multi-service logistics network because the market demanded it.

What Novaespark does, plainly stated

Novaespark is a Canadian logistics company headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. We move freight — domestically across all nine provinces we serve, internationally across the US border, and locally through our last-mile delivery network in the greater Edmonton area. We also operate a warehousing facility that handles inbound receiving, inventory management, pick-and-pack fulfilment, and outbound dispatch. Our clients include e-commerce brands managing high-order volume, industrial manufacturers shipping heavy equipment components, and distribution businesses that need consistent carrier relationships across multiple corridors without managing those relationships themselves. We coordinate the whole operation — carrier booking, customs documentation, storage, and final delivery — so our clients deal with one invoice, one contact, and one tracking system rather than a patchwork of vendors. We've been operating in this space since 2018, and in that time we've processed over 60,000 shipments and grown our carrier network from four regional partners to more than thirty active agreements.

How we work — and where we have limits

Our operational model is built around a central Edmonton hub that functions as both a physical warehouse and a dispatch coordination centre. Every inbound shipment is assigned to a dedicated account manager whose job is to monitor that freight from intake to delivery confirmation. We use a slate-professional internal dashboard — a system our technical team built to surface exceptions before they become problems — so a border hold or a missed pickup window gets flagged to your account manager within two hours, not at the end of the day. We run a tight internal standard: if a shipment falls outside its promised transit window, we call the client before they call us. That said, results depend on factors outside any logistics company's full control. Carrier delays caused by severe weather — particularly in Alberta winters — or border congestion from regulatory changes can extend transit times beyond our published estimates. We communicate those conditions transparently; we don't pad quotes to hide them. We also don't handle temperature-sensitive cargo, hazardous materials, or oversized loads exceeding standard flatbed limits. If a shipment doesn't fit those constraints, we'll tell you directly and, where we can, point you toward a qualified specialist.
