What does a full-service logistics network actually cover?

From the warehouse dock to the final address — Novaespark handles every link in the chain so you're not stitching together four different vendors.

Built for operators who move a lot of freight

Most shippers reach a point where one-off carrier relationships stop working. Rates become unpredictable, tracking is inconsistent, and any volume surge exposes gaps in the network. Novaespark was designed to absorb that complexity. We operate as a single-source logistics partner — coordinating domestic lanes, international moves, warehouse storage, and last-mile delivery under one contract, one invoice, and one account manager. Our technical systems connect directly with most WMS and ERP platforms, so your team isn't re-entering data or chasing PDFs. The result is a logistics layer that handles scale without requiring proportional growth in your own headcount.

Service details

Domestic Freight — FTL & LTL

We run full-truckload and less-than-truckload moves on established lanes throughout Canada. FTL clients get dedicated equipment and a guaranteed departure window. LTL clients are consolidated into optimized loads that maintain reliable transit times without the full-truck cost. Both tiers include real-time GPS tracking and electronic proof of delivery.

International & Cross-Border

Novaespark manages US-Canada cross-border freight under CUSMA/USMCA terms, including ISF filings, commercial invoices, and carrier customs bonds. We work with a network of licensed customs brokers and can extend moves into Mexico and overseas via bonded forwarding partners. Transit times and border wait estimates are factored into every international quote.

Warehousing & Distribution

Our Edmonton warehouse offers ambient storage for general goods, with pallet, bay, and full-section options available on monthly terms. Services include inbound receiving, SKU-level inventory tracking, pick-and-pack fulfilment, and outbound staging for next-day dispatch. Access to live inventory counts is available through our client portal at any hour.

Last-Mile & Final Delivery

Our last-mile fleet covers Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Leduc, and surrounding areas. Deliveries are scheduled in two-hour windows, with automated SMS notifications sent to recipients 30 minutes before arrival. All drivers carry handheld scanners; proof of delivery photos are uploaded and visible in your account within minutes of completion.

Integrations and technical compatibility

Novaespark connects with Shopify, WooCommerce, SAP, and custom REST APIs for order ingestion and status updates. When you place a domestic or last-mile order through your existing platform, it flows directly into our dispatch system — no email confirmations, no manual re-entry. For warehousing clients, inventory adjustments sync back to your WMS on a 15-minute refresh cycle. We're not a bolt-on tool; we're a logistics layer that sits inside your existing stack. Our technical onboarding team sets up the connection, tests it against your volume, and monitors it for the first 30 days.

Common questions about our services

What's the minimum shipment size you handle?

For LTL domestic moves, we accept shipments from a single pallet (approximately 48" x 40") upward. For last-mile, we work with parcel and box-level freight. There's no minimum for warehousing intake — we've onboarded clients starting with a few hundred SKUs.

Do you handle temperature-sensitive cargo?

Our standard warehouse and vehicles are ambient only. We don't operate reefer trailers or cold-storage units, so perishable goods and pharma products requiring temperature control are outside our current scope. We can refer you to a partner for that category if needed.

How does billing work for multi-service accounts?

Multi-service clients receive a single consolidated invoice at month-end covering all freight moves, warehousing fees, and last-mile charges. Each line item is broken down by service type and shipment reference, so your finance team has a clear audit trail without running three separate reconciliations.

What happens if a shipment is delayed at the border?

Delays at the US-Canada border are flagged in your tracking dashboard within two hours of the hold being applied. Your account manager calls you with a revised ETA and the specific reason for delay — customs inspection, documentation query, or carrier hold. We don't wait for you to notice.

Can you handle a sudden volume spike — say, 3x normal freight in a week?

Yes, with 48-hour notice. Our carrier network agreements include surge capacity clauses, and our warehouse has overflow bays available on short notice. We ask clients to flag anticipated spikes in our shared planning calendar so we can pre-position capacity rather than react to it.
